The realistic look of travertine is yours with the Travisano tile collection by Marazzi. This porcelain tile uses ink jet technology to capture the most authentic and detailed image of luxurious travertine stone and re-create it on this affordable design. The Travisano collection offers a wide variety of sizes, including the 18 in. x 18 in. floor/wall tile that has become very popular for both residential and commercial settings. Travisano also includes an assortment of trim and mosaics, simplifying the design and selection process for your flooring project.
  • 352 square feet per pallet, 20 cases per pallet. Pallet weight equals 1372 lbs.
  • Grade 1, first-quality porcelain tile for floor, wall and countertop use
  • 18 in. width x 18 in. length x 0.35 in. thick
  • Glazed smooth finish with a medium sheen and random variation in tone
  • Class 3 abrasion resistance - suitable for floor applications with medium to heavy foot traffic
  • Impervious tile has water absorption of less than 0.5%
  • D.C.O.F. greater than or equal to 0.42 slip-resistance meets requirements for use on dry, or wet, level floors; not suitable for shower floors due to tile size; all products manufactured by Marazzi meet or exceed the requirements of the ANSI standard
  • Frost resistant

    A:  This is nine tiles. I’m not sure what size they are in this photo because there are square tiles with 6” sides and square tiles with 18” sides.

        Q:Is there a particular pattern that you recommend or not recommend for installing this floor tile? Can I set the next row of tile in the middle of the previous row? Or do you recommend a 1/3 tile overlap?

        A:  Your personal preference: like a chess board, or offset 1/2 or 1/3. On the bottom of each tile you will find a U.S. flag, if you always place the flag in the southwest orientation, all tiles oriented the same, then your eye will find it harmonious, as it is designed to have this effect.

          Inconsistent Dimmensions, Inconsistent Image
          Had Home Depot install 500 sq ft of this tile. The tiles varied in dimension by 1/4 inch from tile to tile, even within a given box. This was not a lot issue. To make it worse, the Home Depot installers didn't bother to ask if I was OK with the inconsistent grout line until they were almost done. In the end, they finally came through and refunded me the cost of the project plus the cost to remove this tile. Pictures show alignment due to inconsistent dimensions.

            Looks great but def is inconsistent sizing
            This tile looks amazing with gold sluter. With that said, the sizes are extremely off. No consistency at all. If i didnt have professional tile people it would have been impossible to do as a diy.
