Hello Sarah no this can not be used as a pocket door. Any drilling into to the door besides its intended use will void the warranty. We recommend a solid core door as a pocket door.

I ordered this door 8 plus weeks ago. We picked it up and the corner was damaged. I was surprised it was only wrapped in cardboard. We got it home and discovered the corner was damage. We decided not to return after waiting for so long. My husband fixed it and we put it up. We like the door and it works fine.
are the holes predrilled for hardware?

Is the primed white door solid wood or MDF. If it is MDF are there any issued using top mount hardware? Will it tear our from the door’s weight?

They are 1/32" veneer, unbelievable how thin!

Can this door be used to replace a preexisting swing door that is MDF/engineered wood and lets too much noise thru?
Hello MMK , barn door are not meant to be soundproof since the do not seal the opening well , their purpose should be for more of a room divider.
