Are they weatherproof?

No, they are not weatherproof. After a while, the elements WILL start to negatively affect them and weaken their structure. I wouldn't use them for anything you intend to have outside all the time.

1) Neodymium Rare Earth Cylindrical Magnet Diametrically Magnetized. 2) When you stack two identical permanent magnets, you get roughly the strength of one twice the size. However, a magnet twice the size has to spread its magnetic energy over twice the volume, so the surface strength of the magnet is rarely significantly increased. Good luck

No, you will a need a stronger magnet or you can buy an enhanced stud finder, called a deep sensor type, that'll go through the density of the ceramic and locate those wall studs.
