I haven't seen this product actually on the shelf in any of the stores. I have always ordered it through HomeDepot.com and have had it shipped to the store. Easy and efficient. My last order arrived within three days, ahead of the scheduled date, though with all of the transportation issues this year, I would not count on that.

Thank you for your question. Medina Growin Green is organic and not harmful to animals. Some animals may be attracted to the odor and if it's ingested it will not be harmful. To lessen the attraction water the Growin Green after application to help lessen the odor.
Is this product ok for kids or pets to walk on right away? I don't want them to get chemical burns
It's all organic so I believe it is ok to walk on immediately. I know our dog is normally outside and he did not get sick but then again we don't walk barefooted outside so I don't have any experience with that. Either way I don't recommend walking barefooted outside you can get microorganisms without knowing.

We have used this product for several years now with good results and without any harmful effects to our two German Shepherds. Essentially it is dried and pelletized chicken poop. It does smell a bit when first applied but not like other chemical based fertilizers. The concentration is low so it does require a larger amount of product to be applied to your lawn or garden.
It’s all natural…. No chemicals used at all.
