Yes, you can remove the head piece and the handle by unscrewing the couplings.
When it worked, I used it to water the plants in my garden. Unfortunately, it only lasted one summer before breaking.
A better solution would be a sprinkler of some type, like a fan sprinkler. Lawns should be watered DEEP and not so frequently (like 2-3 times a week at most). You would get tired and be tempted to shortchange your lawn if you use a wand or nozzle. This wand is excellent for watering potted plants and small foundation plantings or gardens. Not the right tool for watering the grass/lawn.
Not the grass but I use it to water my tomato shrubs and small trees.
There are several spraying options on the dial. I’m sure a couple will wirk for you if you’re talking about a small area. I use it to water my pots hanging and on the ground. It’s great to blast debris off the patio.
It would have to be a very small spot. Wands and nozzles are more designed for plants. You'll most likely want to use a sprinkler for watering grass.
Yes, the head head pivots up and down.
The head will pivot on a vertical plane.
It Pivots. I've had it for over a year and I really do like it. I use mainly the "shower" and the "mist" positions for watering my plants.
The head does Pivot
