Are both dimension of the area adjustable?
You can’t adjust the width, but you can adjust the range, if you require partial oscillation.
I just bought my Melnor Premium Oscillating Sprinkler yesterday. I plan on using it for the first time tonight. However I cannot get the yellow adjustment tabs to go all the way to the left and all the way to the right at the same time. Is this normal?
Yes, that's normal. If you mean both at the same time. For instance, if we're looking at the left tab; it will move all the way down to the left, but it will not move past the middle to the right, and vice-verse with the right tab. Hope this helps.

How to adjust width of spray
That sprinkler doesn't have width control tabs, but it does have range control tabs.
My one year old sprinkler does not sweep it?s not the water pressure, water comes out fine but just in one spot.. it will not move . All of the stops are located correctly . Any ideas how to correct?
Sometimes after long periods of setting, you need to give the bar a "Push" because grit will getcaught up on it. If that does not work, disassemble the sprinkler and clean out the mechinism. It's pretty easy to do. Also, if the sprinkler nozzels are plugged and the plastic point does not work, the "Pin" for opening the sd card slot for a smart phone will work, or a piece of safety wire.
It came with a lifetime warranty take it back
I use ten of these same sprinklers to water my rather large lawn and once one of these sprinklers quit melnor has sent me a new motor. Melnor has been good about warranty. Contact customer service for more information.
