Product Details

Imported from Spain, our Kings Star White 17-5/8 in. x 17-5/8 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile radiates old-world European elegance. This encaustic-inspired tile features a unique, low-sheen glaze in faded antique white tones with centered pale light grey patterns in each square. Designed by interior architect and furniture designer Francisco Segarra, this tile is a true reflection of vintage industrial design. Realistic imitations of scuffs and spots that are the marks of well-loved, worn, century-old tile bring rustic charm to any interior setting. These rustic scuffs and spots convince that this tile is truly aged. Available in 9 print variations that are randomly scattered throughout each case, the variation throughout each tile mimics an authentic aged appearance. Save time and labor spent arranging smaller square tiles and instead install these durable ceramic slabs, which have four 8-3/4 in. squares separated by scored grout lines. The scored grout lines can be grouted with the color of your choice, or left ungrouted for a rugged finish. It's durable and glazed features make this tile an ideal choice for indoor commercial and residential use, including kitchens, bathrooms, showers and entryways. Tile is the better choice for your space. This tile is made from natural ingredients, making it a healthy choice as it is free from allergens, VOCs, formaldehyde and PVC.
  • 10.95 square feet, 5 pieces per case. Case weight is 51.6 lbs.
  • Grade 1, first-quality ceramic tile for floor and wall use.
  • 17.63 in. width x 17.63 in. length x 0.42 in. thick
  • Glazed, slightly textured finish with a low sheen and moderate variation in tone
  • P.E.I. Rating IV has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial kitchens, hotels, exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions
  • Semi-Vitreous tiles have water absorption of more than 3% but less than 7% for indoor use
  • C.O.F. less than or equal to .5 is considered to have a marginally low skid resistance.
  • Not frost resistant

      Q:How do you recommend finishing the edging if we installed this on our shower walls? Is there bull nose options? If not, do you recommend a certain bull nose trim?

        A:  This is ceramic so I would caution against using it in showers. You should search for porcelain tile instead. It’s less porous than ceramic.

                  Beautiful and soft underfoot
                  This tile exceeded my expectations and created exactly the look I was trying to achieve in my new kitchen. It arrived intact with no damaged tiles and installed beautifully. I love the worn, encaustic look with my white oak cabinets. Also, I am barefoot most of the time, and this tile feels "soft", not course or abrasive. I love looking at it, walking on it, and I get so many compliments. I'm considering other colors for the bathroom remodels.

                      Love this tile so much but thought too busy if I used this alone. So I also went every other with Merola Tile Kings Manhattan. The tile is super durable, with all arriving with none broken. I would highly recommend this tile!

                          The tile is beautiful and has a nice patina to it. Sort of an old world-worn look. This is one large tile with 4 smaller ones printed on it. We used a dark gray grout and it looks amazing. The tile has a brownish color where the grout lines are located but the gray completely covered that area. If you are on the fence, go for it!
