The MetalTech Aluminum Platform with Plywood Deck for Standard and Arched Scaffolding Frames is built with a rugged 5/8 in. thick plywood deck and platform crossbeams to evenly distribute the load. It can support a total load of up to 75 lbs. per sq. ft. for multiple workers at a time, or a set of heavy construction materials. It uses a sturdy, weather-resistant design that keeps it durable even in challenging job site environments. Each platform end is secured with an anti-pop up sliding lock system to keep the platform secured to the frame against wind or unusual movement. This lets you work with added safety and security. It is easy to set up, with a versatile design that lets you use it on standard or arch scaffolding frames. Our Aluminum Platform with Plywood Deck meets and exceeds OSHA, CSA, and ANSI standards to help reduce the risk of worker injury.

A: I don’t think it’s available in longer than 10 foot lengths and even if it was would you really want to stand on it? It’s shaky at 10 foot. Also it is very heavy difficult for one person to maneuver. I bought this device along with two ladder jacks and 2 twenty four foot ladders. Used them one time and then sold them on Facebook even made a little money on them. The guy that bought them didn’t want to wait one of the items can’t remember which was shipping out of Canada took forever to get it.

A: the plywood deck is possible to change The platforms are assembled with bolts and nuts and it is well made So to change the plywood platform would only require a disassembly and reassembly of the the deck The Design allows for changing of the plywood deck

These planks are very nice and they have meet all my expectations. They are light weight enough for one person to carry yet strong enough for work on them without feeling weak. The only draw back on them would be that the edges of the aluminum rails are very sharp and could be cleaned up a little bit. I am using them on our house remodel/addition and they are so much better than working off ladders. Best investment I could have made for this job.

I am a bit leery that they will not hold up. Construction work is very abusive on things, and they are already bent just from the ride to my house. The bracing underneath is very thin metal and just from them being stacked, they where bent down on 3 of the braces. The brand I have had, they did not have in stock, and they are much stronger, they have the all aluminum round braces and sturdy strong hooks and have took years of abuse. Time will tell, but I think the other option would have been better.
