Air Saver
Love it! No more firing up the air compressor for lug nuts & suspension nuts/bolts. It's stubby enough to squeeze into those tight spots behind the calipers & backing plates. So far it's had enough power to break loose all but the rustiest of bolts under our rust belt vehicles.

Downside of this impacts
The flat face is a poor design, it makes it difficult to get it on fasteners that are close up against anything. The previous model with the tapered head allowed better access in that regard. With this one you need an extension to get the angle and then you loose all your torque. It’s still a good tool despite that.

Big power in a small package
I have mostly used air tools when working on cars and equipment but the improvement in battery powered tools and not having to deal with an air line has made my life easier. I have an older model that I would switch back and forth with my air tool because it didn't quite have the power I wanted but the Fuel line has amazing power and better battery life. The head of this impact is shorter than my 3/8 air ratchet so it fits more places and even though the impact sounds are loud it is still quieter without the high pitched air tool whine. I like the ability to turn down the maximum power when working on smaller or more delicate parts making it less likely I will break something. You get two batteries but I find one lasts me most of the day unless I am doing high volume production work and then the other battery is charged and ready to go by the time I need it. I am slowly getting a collection of air tools just sitting in a drawer of my tool box and wondering which tool is the next to get replaced. You will not be sorry adding this to your collection.

A powerful, compact 3/8" drive impact gun
This kit includes everything that is needed to get started with Milwaukee M18 tools. The kit includes a compact 3/8" drive impact wrench, two XC 5.0 18 volt (5-amp hour/ 90 Wh Lithium ion) batteries, a charger that charges both M18 and M12 batteries, and a heavy duty carrying case.
The impact wrench is a brushless motor with a 3/8" square drive with a friction ring and fits all M18 batteries. The wrench comes with a linear trigger with 3 LED lights the shine on the work area in a compact body which is just over 4" long. 4 modes or speed/power levels are built into the wrench with the most powerful mode delivering 250 ft/lbs of fastening & removal torque at 2,400 RPM and 3,500 impacts per minute. There is also a special mode for bolt removal that will reduce the RPM once the bolt is broken free, also on this mode is a light duty drive mode that auto shuts off after approximately 20 ft/lbs of torque. The power delivery of this wrench is smooth but powerful and is comparable to older, larger 1/2" impacts with brushed motors. This is a very versatile tool with the power for removing stuck fasteners, but also the smooth precision for everyday tasks. I am excited as this is my first M18 tool and I feel it is better than other tool systems due to the quality batteries, and selection of M18 compatible tools.

Love it
I have never had a milwaukee impact gun so I started with the one and now a proud owner off 3 impact guns along with a hammer drill which are outstanding. I would recommend all items to anyone who is looking for good quality and fair price tool.

Fantastic.
A must have for any mechanic. As we all know every little bit of space counts when it comes to working around the car. A couple milimiters is the difference between a quick bolt removal or turning the project into a whole day ordeal. Pair the impact wrench with a set of stubby impact sockets and you're looking at a total depth of 5-1/4". The compact size is just perfect for getting into all sorts of nooks and crannies. The wrench has plenty of torque and has no issues breaking loose the bolts I've thrown at it. The auto stop feature is honestly where the tool shines. No longer do I have to worry about stripping threads or over torquing anything, as the tool with automatically hand tighten bolts, allowing me to come back and finish the job with a proper torque wrench.

A mechanics dream
I cannot get enough of this impact wrench. It is absolutely perfect for any sort of automotive maintenance. Where this tool shines vs the competition is the small size of the unit. Pair this impact with a stubby impact socket and you're looking at a total depth just shy of 5-1/4". Anyone who works in engine bays, knows that every fraction of an inch is the difference between making it work in a confined space, or having to pull out the engine/body panels to access what you need.
The kit includes eveything you need to get going minus the sockets. The carrying case is sturdy and well molded, allowing all the pieces to stay securely in place while being transported. The case has a hole near the handle to install a small lock if desired.
The triple LED lights provide ample light around the entire work area. The placement of the LEDs around the face of the wrench ensures your work area will be illuminated no matter the angle.
The wrench features 4 modes: 3 preset speeds with increasing power and "mode 4" which is essentially an auto power moderator. My wrench basically lives on mode 4. Never knew an impact wrench could do this and it's been life changing. Essentially mode 4 will drive the bolt/nut until it finds its first bit of resistance, automatically hand tighten and then stop, preventing you from over tightening. This allows you to follow up with a torque wrench to get perfect results.
Same concept also works for loosening bolts, pushing max power to break loose the bolt and then reducing rpm to ease the bolt off.
I will say that I wish the mode selection button was raised a bit more as I found it difficult to press, but this might be the case to also prevent you from accidentally switching modes.
The kit features a dual M12/M18 charger, even though only two M18 batteries are included.
