A:  Hi Sadi, unfortunately the pipe cutter in-store is designed for cutting steel pipe. However Home Depot does sell copper pipe cutters that will effortlessly cut copper pipe. We hope this helps with your project.

      A:  Most homes have 1/2'' pipes. If your existing plumbing is that size, that would be fine, however, this all depends on what size the branch pipes are. Normally the pipe stub-outs under your sink are branch pipes that connect to 3/4-inch main pipes, and they always have a diameter of 1/2 inch.
