The 4 in. PVC Elbow makes a 45° turn in 4 in. sewer and drain (S&D) pipe runs. The 45° Ell also connects to select drainage products compatible with 4 in. S&D connections such as channel drain outlets, Flo-Well Dry Well System, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters. The drain fitting is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for Hub X Hub solvent-weld connections. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. This elbow is used to make a change in direction in the pipeline and connects two pipes of the same type and diameter size. Will this work with 4 inch triple wall drain pipe sold at homedepot? If so, what type of adhesive should be used? The project will be used for rain drainage.
Is it sch 40
5 PSI Sewer & Drain
This fits SDR 35 pipe which has thinner walls compared to Sch 40.
This DWV fitting will not fit on Schedule 40 pipe. DWV pipe is thinner wall than Schedule 40 pipe, has a smaller diameter, and is good for only a few psi.
What is the actual ID dimension? I want to put it on a green outlet pipe in my pond that has a 6.250” OD.
The ID is 6.25 inches, the same as the OD of green sewer pipe.
What glue is needed
Use standard solvent cement for PVC pipe.
PVC glue will work with our PVC fittings including this 45 degree elbow.
How many come in a case?
A case of these from the manufacturer comes with 30, however from the store they are sold 1 at a time.
What is the exact OD (outside dimension) of either side of this elbow? I really need the EXACT (or within 1/32") if possible. Thank you
