The 4 in. PVC Wye adds a 45Â° angle to an existing 4 in. sewer and drain pipe run and connects three lengths of pipe. It also connects to select drainage products such as channel drain outlets, Flo-Well Dry Well System, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters. The drain fitting is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for Hub X Hub X Hub solvent-welded connections. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. This wye is used to add an intersection to the pipeline and connect three pipes of the same type and diameter size. Attach 4 in. S&D pipe to each end of the wye; also connects 4 in. S&D pipe to select drainage products that accommodate 4 in. S&D connections; can be solvent-welded to PVC components for a watertight connection
Wye made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking.

A: Hi Leff. Yes, the HDPE pipe is compatible with our S&D PVC fitting. Use waterproof silicone or an adhesive to seal the fitting to the pipe.

A: Yes, this is a 'thin wall' fitting.. S&D or DWV (drain, waste, vent) is designation for PVC pipe designed for non-pressurized systems. Note: I'm not a plumber, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
