The NIBCO 2 in. PVC DWV Hub x FIPT Female Adapter is used in non-pressurized Drain, Waste and Vent sanitary systems above-ground, removing waste water and water-borne wastes from appliances and fixtures. It adapts PVC to standard male pipe threads. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode.

A decent pvc fitting. However, I find that Nibco fittings...
A decent pvc fitting. However, I find that Nibco fittings are a little too tight when attempting to push the pipe in the fitting hub. They also tend to push out the pipe if not held for longer amounts of time than normal. Of course, this is mitigated by simply pushing harder and holding in place for longer but I find Charlotte pvc fittings to be much easier to work with.
