The NIBCO 3 in. PVC DWV soil pipe adapter is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The PVC DWV soil pipe adapter features a hub x spigot connection and connects PVC DWV pipe and soil pipe. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness. PVC DWV is easy to install and is joined by solvent cementing or threading. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode. Works perfect, fits right inside old cast iron pipes. Good for adding a piece of pvc to an old soil stack pipe or converting an old floor drain into pvc. I've used different sizes for different projects and they've all been successful and saved alot of time and effort.
