can i cut 2 of these in half and use them to go over a 6" pipe

PVC Sch 40 or DWV piping you should use a 4801 6 in., not a 4801 3 in. how do you use the coupling

Does this glue over a 3" pvc coupling?

Does it fit schedule 30 pipe, which has OD of 3.25 in.?

NIBCO 4800 series fittings for DWV PVC fittings are designed to conform with the dimensional standard ASTM D2665 DWV PVC pipe. 3 in. pipe made to this standard would have a 3.5 in. OD. What is the inside measurement
Asked by richard October 20, 2020Thank you for your inquiry on the NIBCO 2 in. PVC DWV Hub x Hub Repair Coupling. This fitting will have a tapered cup, so at the entrance the ID measures 2.385 in. and at the bottom of the cup the ID measures 2.370 in. This fitting is made to solvent weld to Sch 40 2 in. nominal piping that measures 2.375 in. on the OD.
