Good Burners - Terrible Oven Temp Control

I've been using this oven for approximately four months. The burners are satisfactory. They have a good flame pattern, nice turndown and are plenty powerful. My major gripe is with the oven. This unit does not have a digital controller or a digital interface. Everything appears to be analog, including an analog temperature dial for the oven. It is evident that the oven uses bang bang temperature control (2 step or on-off control if you prefer). This means the heating element is either on or off and is controlled using a hysteresis band. Normally this would be acceptable, if it is coupled with a digital controller. The NXR oven clearly uses analog temperature control for the oven, and my is it bad. For example, an oven temp setpoint of 400 sometimes creeps up to 475. I have to monitor the oven temperature with a digital thermometer and manually keep the temperature within reason by cracking open and closing the oven door periodically. Perhaps the oven thermostat on my unit is bad, and I'll update this review if NXR honors their warranty and makes it right.

Get the high end look and stay on budget!

I absolutely love how beautiful this range is! Very easy to use and clean. Simple design makes it look commercial grade without the high price tag. Everyone is super impressed when they see it in my new kitchen.

Impossible to convert to LP as conversion kits cost extra...

Impossible to convert to LP as conversion kits cost extra and have been out of stock for months. Also, their cust service agent could care less!
