A: I think 48 inches is the circumference. The leaves are about 2 feet long.
A: The fern measures about 29” from the end of the longest fern frond to tip of stem end. It arrives with the fronds bunched together lengthwise, and you spread them out and bend them to your taste. After the fronds are spread out with a natural curve as shown in the photo, the plant can have a diameter of about 48” at its widest point. However, the diameter can be smaller if the longest fronds are bent more or pointed more downward than outward.
A: So far, so good. Its been a few months and look brand new still.
A: Hello, Unfortunately this particular plant can not be used outside. Thank you!
A: We've had ours in partial sun for a few weeks...so far so good!
A: I didn't measure ours, but it seems like 48 inches is the circumference of each plant. The leaves are about 2 feet long.
A: The top view will depend on how the item is shaped and fluffed. It can be made to be circular, if so desired. The 48 inch measurement is for one fern. Each one measures 48 inches.
A: Yes, if you spread the fronds to form a circle; you spread them out yourself from the central stem. When the fonds are spread out as in the photo, a single fern is about 48” at its widest point.
