This is quite a rake! I’m 69 and have used various rakes [mostly this “bow” type] since I was 6-7 y.o. for typical yard work, i.e. leaves, small limbs, trash, etc. The head is the perfect weight [a little heavier than typical bow rakes] to drag debris along without having to apply downward pressure, which is usually as much or more work than any other aspect of raking. For functionality I don’t think it can be beat, but I just got it so I don’t know about its durability [it looks/feels very well made]…time will tell. It’s a bit pricey but I’d rather spend twice as much initially and have a tool that lasts rather than purchasing a new piece of junk every couple years or so.
One note; the handle is smooth, so I needed to wear gripper type gloves to make holding it easier. Alternatively, you could tape the gripping areas for use without gloves.
