AnswersI don't know what engineers recommend but I have 3-8.5 in cast iron pans 1-18in cast pan, a full Cuisinart set and utensils I really can't emphasize enough to hang it CORRECTLY in your studs or consult a contractor

AnswersThere are four chains that attach from the four attach points on the rack to the two mounting hooks. It may be possible but I would recommend assembling as the manufacture intended for safety reasons.

The 4.75" hooks are larger than the hooks that come with this. I don't think you can find the same sized hooks separately. All of the screws were loose and some were quite stripped. Seems a decent quality by design but the one I received must have been made on a Monday. I expected better, but it will work. I would definitely be disappointed if I was trying to put together a top-notch kitchen.
The first time I attempted to post this review it was flagged for the screws being stripped and not put in all the way as a shipping complaint. There is no way either could have happened during shipping.

I love it!!!!! I wasn't quite sure what I was getting, but when it came and I had it installed, it turned out perfectly! My sister loved it so much, she got herself one. I live in El Paso, Texas and my oldest sister lives in Long Beach, California. We are amazed at the quality of the Old Dutch Hanging Pot Rack, its features and the color. We are completely satisfied.
