This Oregon file guide worked the way I needed once I got the proper technic from watching the Oregon Youtube.

File fit well, as expected. The guide actually had alignment arrows which was extremely helpful in keeping the same angle on sharpening

With a little "youtube" instruction, I used this tool to sharpen my Echo CS-590 20" chainsaw blade in about 10 minutes. Most of the time was just getting a feel for the angles and depth. Should take only 10-15 minutes at the most. The thing I like about this tool is that it has lined marks for the angles and does set it to the right depth - just need to pay attention (which I didn't at first), and you will have very sharp blades when done. I also have a Ryobi 40V 18" in chain saw which this file does not fit, but the guide will fit the other files they sell. Just make sure you pay attention to the file size for your chainsaw blades.

File handle needed to be secured well on the file itself, because it would have a tendency to become loose. Close attention was needed to make sure file was align with teeth of chain.

now that I have the right file and holder sharpening saw is a lot easier
