Read the directions
I’ve used this product for decades. If you read and follow the directions it does exactly what it says it does. I buy it every year kills the weeds and the grass is fine. I like it because it doesn’t have a fertilizer in it and it doesn’t make my grass grow fast.

Hit and miss...mainly miss
Bought this to destroy the weeds (mainly crabgrass) overtaking my yard. Most of the yard is Bermuda grass and this is one product that is supposed to protect the grass and eliminate weeds. The good: the Bermuda grass is fine. The bad: the weeds are too. I swear some of the weeds grew faster and stronger since I sprayed. Very disappointed overall with this product.
I used an Ortho hose end sprayer and spent a little extra time in some areas where the weeds were thicker. In a few areas of the yard, I saw weeds dying within a day or two. But those areas were limited. In a majority of the lawn, the product didn't have any affect. Same thing along the fence line. It's like the weeds are now taunting me..daring me to try again.
At the time of application, weeds were actively growing. I had mowed the day before and the air temp was around 80ËšF. Photos show a few weeks after the application. The worst part of this failure is that you apply the product, then give it time to work and when it doesn't, you've wasted a few weeks watching the weeds grow. I bought enough to do .5 acres and looks like I'll have to move on to another brand.

New Bottle is difficult to use
Today I used your Weed B-Gon + Crabgrass Control hose end spray product. It could not have been more difficult to use. The screw on connection leaked badly and the spray was very uneven. After using the whole 32 ounce bottle I was soaking wet and had only been able to cover an 800 square foot area. The configuration and spray nozzle of your old bottle worked much better than this new bottle. I am very disappointed.

It works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely works… just be patient. I followed the directions and waited. A few days later, weeds started to wilt and then gradually die off. I had extra left in the sprayer so I also doused some weeds in the planters with the same results. I do think there are some other products that give quicker results, but find this is a great product for those stubborn weeds in the grass.

Almost Gone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ortho Weed B-Gon Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate + Crabgrass Control was very promising as when I first applied it, the weeds and crabgrass indeed looked like they were dying. However, after a few days many of the weeds were growing back and I had to retreat many areas.

Works well but.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off it says not safe to use around pets but it doesn't how long you can have pets in the area after it's applied. I was trying to do this to my backyard where my dogs play and such. I didn't put a little in an area and caged it off. So yes it does work but it's kind of sucky I can't just safely use it without worrying about my pets.

Kills weeds but not your lawn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bermuda grass and every spring and summer, there are some weeds that pop up. This Weed B Gon is able to selectively kill those weeds without harming the grass. The product is a concentrate so you need to either use a spray pump and dilute 2.5oz / gallon or use the Ortho dial sprayer.
I diluted a gallon of this in a pump sprayer and spot treated the areas where I saw weeds. After couple of days, the weed started to yellow. The bermudagrass was not affected. With this product pre-mix in a pump sprayer, I can spot treat the weeds on my lawn. Very convenient.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great weed killer. I sprayed this on some troublesome weeds I have growing in my front yard and it has worked wonders. I left it alone until the next day and noticed it had started to wither. By the third day it was completely dead. I will continue to use this for my weed problems!
