PC-7 4 lb. Paste Epoxy

$ 41 39

Overview

PC-7 is the tough job epoxy. This paste epoxy was formulated for maximum bonding power. When mixed, components A (grey) and B (black) reacts to form a bond of tremendous strength. PC-7 formulation provides extended working time, for large and critical jobs, which allow the user to reposition work or make changes. High "wet grab" or tack of PC-7 Paste Epoxy makes overhead and sidewall work easy without drip or sag. PC-7 demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt, and fresh water. Approximately equal amounts of A and B by volume; variations of either component as high as 20 percent will not affect the bond strength. When desirable, one part of A to two parts B may be used to increase elasticity (expansion joints, etc.). In cold or cool temperatures, place PC-7 container near heat prior to using. PC-7 mixes and spreads easier at 80°F than at 40°F. Any clean smooth flat surface is an excellent surface for mixing and working. A small putty knife or flexible artist spatula are great tools for mixing and applying PC-7. Use with as adhesive: wood, metal (all types), glass, brick, block, rubber, concrete, stone, slate, fiberglass, tile, and more in any and all combinations; as sealant: oil, gas, water tanks, cellar cracks, pressure tanks, and plumbing leaks; as a filler: holes, castings, patterns, molds, voids, welds, steering wheels and much more.

will this work to seal an aluminum trailer top
Asked by: princess
PC-7 is great for filling cracks and holes but you may need a more flexible sealant to seal an aluminum seam. Perhaps a DAP roof sealant or flashing cement will stop the leak. See: https://www.dap.com/dap-products-ph/butyl-flex-gutter-flashing-voc-compliant-adhesive/

PC Products PC-7 4 lb. Paste Epoxy is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from PC-7 PASTE EPOXY THIS IS GREAT STUFF, A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT. It can be used for almost any repair. It has good working time, hardens to the touch reasonably fast and is rock solid in 24 hours. It can be formed and shaped as it reaches the end of it's working time while wearing rubber gloves and using a little spit to keep it from sticking to the gloves. I"ve been using the stuff for years for all kinds of things, mostly automotive, home, crafts ect.. It's a little pricey, but worth every cent. I have only used the black but it also cones in white (I don't know if the white is just as good, but eventually I will purchase it to try it).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pc-7 epoxy Excellent two component heavy paste like product. This is a very slow set time and waterproof making it great for exterior and complex assembly where you need longer working time. This stuff sticks to anything. Very expensive but gets the job done the first time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great product I needed to seal a 40 gallon fountain which houses fish. This product did the job. It was time consuming to blend and apply the ingredients but worth the effort. I let the epoxy dry for two days and the fish are happy. If one is not familiar with epoxy products the use of this material can be difficult and once applied good luck removing, although I heard it will come off with a blow torch.
