Leaks x2
Same thing everyone else says, unfortunately. Cool concept, but they just keep splitting and leaking in our new cabinets. Also after looking at my photos closer, i see a mineral trail, which makes me wonder just how long it leaked this time!?

    Leaks
Thought I would try because it's clear and ease of clog detection. I installed correctly and within 30 days a puddle formed in my new cabinets. I used glue to fix the problem but a short 2 weeks later it started leaking at the joint. Bad product

Dear Customer, sorry to hear about the issue you faced. This is just a standard P-Trap made out of transparent ABS material instead of White Polypropelyene or Black ABS material - the most common reason for a P-Tarp to leak is if either incorrect gasket is used or gasket is missing. Please contact us directly at sales@pfwaterworks.com with your contact information so we can call and understand the issue better and address it appropriately. Thank You. pfwaterworks

        cracked
I installed one of these and it cracked in two hours. I don't know why pf water works is saying stuff like this p trap is designed to the exact same spec as the standard p trap - only difference is it is made from transparent abs material instead of white polypropylene material. In most cases the leak in a p trap occurs as a result of missing or damaged gasket. please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com so we can understand the issue you are facing and address it appropriately. thanks Thats what they say no matter what they say it does not work. use a p trap like https://www.homedepot.com/p/NIBCO-1-1-2-in-PVC-DWV-Hub-x-Hub-P-Trap-C4895HD112/100344844

Hello Customer, sorry to hear this - In our comment pasted by you above, all we are stating is the facts and requesting the customer to contact us so we can understand the situation that caused the issue - obviously, it isn't normal for ABS plastic to crack without some sort fo external force applied to it. Also, just to clarify the link of the alternate product you have provided is for a product made of white Sch. 40 PVC and it has much different properties than ABS and is also not transparent. Please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we will do our best to address your concern. Thanks...... pfwaterworks

LEAKS, installed one with new sink 6 months ago and began leaking a couple weeks ago, replaced it with the same and made sure nothing in cabinet was the cause for initial crack/leak and just experienced a leak in the same place. Apparently just a bad product.

            Garbage
I thought it would be nice to have a clear drain pipe to see if there were any problems. It cracked and leaked in a few months. I thought it was a fluke so I bought another one. I hooked it up and it worked fine. Here we are 3 days later. I went under the sink to get something while my wife was using the sink and the drain was leaking really bad. An entire collar broke off I have no idea if it has been leaking since day one or if it just started. I will not be getting another one or recommending it to anyone.

Hello Customer - Sorry to hear about the issue you faced. It is very unusual as this P-Trap is made from code approved ABS Plastic material. Transparent ABS material is bit more brittle compared to white Polypropylene material but rest assured it cannot break passively. The only way for it to break is for an external force to be applied to it while it is in installed position. Please contact us directly at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we can better understand and address your concern. Thanks. pfwaterworks

Hello Customer, This is a standard P-Trap just made of transparent ABS material instead of white Polypropylene material. The main reason for leak in any P-Trap installation is missing or damaged gaskets. If installed correctly using correct gaskets, the P-trap should not leak. Please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com so we can better understand and address your situation. Thanks.. pfwaterworks

                Leaks
I was excited with the idea of being able to see any clogs or issues. However it leaks at all connections. I replaced with the white p-trap and no problems or leaks. There is a design flaw in the connections. Disappointed.
