Q:I thought the whole point to a sink trap was to trap debris and prevent it from going down stream into my drain pipes where I don?t have access to it. Not to collect a wad and give it a full send into the depths. That?ll be a service call to fix. ??

Clever Design
I have one under my kitchen to prevent a ring from going into the sewer system. Periodic rotation of the dial clears out any buildup from becoming a blockage.

Not much to report yet. Installation was easy. I haven’t needed to unclog this P-trap yet so I couldn’t tell you how well that works. It seems a bit odd to have a transparent P-trap but I can see how it might come in handy that one particular day when something strange happens. So far so good.

Cracked after 1 year
once a month I would give it a turn, worked great until one day it just cracked. good thing I keep a bucket under the sink, just in case...

The perfect p-trap.
Have you ever lost a ring or earring that dropped into the drain and went right through a standard p-trap? How about kids or grandchildren who drop things into the drain that don't belong there and those items also go past the standard p-trap, causing a slow draining or clogged drain? Replace them with these! You'll be glad you did.

see through trap
had a clog deeper down the pipe than the trap ,had to take trap off anyway and installed this one, I love the idea of being able to see if my wife or kids dropped anything down the drain.
