Hello, these mini flanges are just as strong as our other flanges but smaller and lighter. They will hold less weight when mounted on a wall because of one less screw hole. depending on your handrail design, the larger floor flange may be the better option. Thank you
Can you thread a rod 1/2 inch with a 13tpi
Our suggested pipes to use are 1/2" by 14 tpi which are compatible with this product. The flange opening for 1/2" flange is approximately 0.705 inches.
