This energy efficient model allows you to adjust the flow with it's built in flow control. This oil free, magnetic drive pump is epoxy encapsulated, allowing for full submersion and maximum durability with no harmful effects to the pump, fountain, or water. A: Hello. The pond boss 320 GPH is designed and tested for medium to large fountains. The fountain pump has ani deal pumping height: 3-5 ft. and fits 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. ID tubing. If the pump is fully submerged in fresh water with a tubing of 1/2 in. or 3/4 in ID and the flow is not restricted, this pump could be used in your setup. It had no power, I did not have 3 ft of lift…which was what it said it had. Junk had to buy something else

Protection feature suffers over time

I don't recall what damage the feature prevented the pump from. I've had this about a year & a half. Now, if you unplug the pump, you run the risk of having to deal with the rocks, water, basin, connections & 200 lb fountain to get it all working again. Just spent a half a day on it a week ago! Runs well when it is happy. It's not happy right now & I have a non-functioning fountain. Little Giant is a better choice.

Just ok

Pump works, but the on - off switch doesn't. But at least it is on

The 50 GPH fountain pump has a flow control in the front of the pump which you can adjust the flow to the lowest setting. We hope this helps.
