Q:I live in central Texas. The existing Bermuda died from excessive ponding by the aerobic sprinklers. I'm adding 3" fresh topsoil to improve drainage. Is Bermuda okay to replant? Lots of heat, drought, but sprinkled at least twice a day.

I do volunteer yard work at our church, and I've been working on a large area of weeds/no grass. I hand-tilled the areas and pulled out the weed pieces, smoothed out the soil and sprinkled seed. Next came a light covering of soil that I had set aside....but the secret to growing Bermuda is the light topping of fine ground mulch as the final layer. The seeds begin to germinate in 5-7 days IF THE SEEDS HAVE BEEN KEPT MOIST. The light layer of fine ground mulch helps keep the seeds moist. As the days grew hotter, I had to mist the area once and sometimes twice a day when rains were not coming. Now we have great grass!!!! I had tried two other Bermuda products, but this seed is the very best!

I have bought this product 3 times
I made a back yard putting green. This grass is great I trained in mowing it low with a sun joe battery mower at 0.6 of an inch I just expanded my green and I'm overfeeding with a new bag of this product, I love it!!!!!!

Planted the seed about 2 weeks ago, to overseed my lawn in some thin patches. So far I haven't seen any new sprouts. For the price I paid, I certainly expected more, and much better. Disappointing.
