This review is NOT part of a paid promotion. So I was not bribed by Philips to omit what makes this such a rip off. I was stupid enough to pay my own money. I thought $25+ was a lot for a light bulb. That was until I found out you have to pay another $20.00 to turn it on (or a small weekly fee of $4.99). Are any of these other shill reviews actual customers and not robots? If so, they were bought and paid for. See attached screen print of what you have to pay just to see if this light bulb actually even works. You cannot bypass this screen to set up the bulb. I have other smart bulbs in my house. Mostly GoVee. They are 1/4 the price and do not charge you to use them.

The natural light emanating from the Phillips tunable bulb is a life altering experience that takes me back to the dawning of the incandescent bulb while engaging my flux capacitor while traveling back in time.

These things were weird to get started and I had a few confusions such as me being on the 5g network at home when it needed to be 2.4 (my fault obviously). Once I got everything set up and also paired it with my Google Home, it's a site to behold. Everything is flawless and I can't believe how well it turned out. This is a major major go. The pictures I have do not do full justice to how great the colors look as well as how well the room is lit up. I hope this review helps!

I got the 60 watt thinking it was suffice for my dark hallway. Turns out indefinitely need to 100watt to really make this the hallway light up. I’ll be exchanging it for the 100watt for sure.

This bulb works excellently for me! Due to the recent installation of a new bedroom slider door set, I had to replace some exterior siding and the old adjacent patio light fixture. I had some recent success with using smaller/standard Phillips LED smart bulbs and controlling them via the Phillips app, which was then 'Skilled' to our Alexa voice-controlled system. Therefore, I did the same with our new patio light fixture which now has THIS Phillips bulb installed. Now I have a dimmable, voice-controlled new patio light! (no dimmer switch!) I run this light at 20% brightness during the night. I then tell Alexa to increase brightness to 100% when I hear our doggo depart through his doggie door to the backyard. I will be adding more of these bulbs in outdoor fixtures very soon.

I love these bulbs and they finally have one thats affordable. I used my bulb to light up my ceramic Christmas tree and make it any color I want.

The lights were easy to get connected. Seamlessly integrated into my Alexa smart home. The app is laid out nicely and makes it easy to control multiple lights independently or as a group. The kids love changing the light color with their voice through Alexa!

I was disappointed that this won't pair with my smart home manager app. You have to install it's own app to use it. That said, the light is bright and dimable with the app. The lamp doesn't flicker all through the entire range. It has a standard base so will work in any regular light socket. Overall it seems to be a good product for a smart bulb. The light is a bit closer to daylight.
