Great Replacement for the 4100k version that was too harsh
So I had the 4100k Cool White version of these bulbs in my kitchen for about 4 years until 1 failed.
I always thought it was a bit harsh. Looked online and my local HD had the 3000K version in stock.
I prefer Soft/ Warm White lighting and these bulbs are a perfect match for the rest of my lighting.
My kitchen is not as harsh in the lighting anymore.

Packaging says "bright white". I replaced a tube next to another tube and this new tube is yello...
Packaging says "bright white". I replaced a tube next to another tube and this new tube is yellow and dimmer than the original tube. Very disappointed that the light is NOT "bright white" like the other tube.

Philips Fluorescent Tubes should last 8 years according to the package label. My last one only lasted 21 months - not even close to the 8 years based on 6 hrs a day 7 days a week (again based on package label). I have resorted to keeping my receipts and labeling the bulbs as Philips will only honor replacement with the receipt.Unfortunately Home Depot only stocks Philips bulbs. If you can find other brands I would recommend trying them.

Package claims bright white for kitchen
I didn't know about Kelvin ratings for color, but the package I'm holding clearly states bright white for kitchen and bath. It's an outright lie, as these bulbs are more yellow than your aunt Karen's nicotine stained teeth.

Great Product!
Great product. Nice and bright. Will be using them for my seed starting. Two cons though- 1.) The bi pins were a little loose surprisingly. 2.) The packaging is actually difficult to get off the product with worry of damaging the bulbs.

Fantastic Tubes!
I have had 30 of the 5000K T8 tubes running on electronic ballasts for 15 years. Zero failures, zero flickering, and no perceptible output drop. LED's still can't touch 'em.

Easy Installl
This is a solid replacement ballast. Install was very easy with ample wiring length included. I had a quick connect plug from the original ballast that connected to the house leads so I kept that and wired it to the new ballast. For the other wires, a few splices and wire nuts later and I was done. Note no wire nuts are included so you’ll have to supply those, but aside from that installation was a breeze. There is a very slight buzz when I turn the light switch on but it goes away in less than a second. That’s the only issue I encountered.
