Can this be switched on an off by phone or do u still have to use the switch
Yes, you can control this smart bulb remotely using the WiZ app on your phone. You can also control it with your existing light switch.
Is there a long neck version of this lamp?
We currently do not have a PAR30L or long neck available with the wi-fi connectivity feature
The heading says $30.97/set (reasonable) but the specs indicate only 1 bulb included (pricey). What do you get for $30.97?
This includes one Philips Wi-Fi enabled PAR30S bulb
Can these bulbs be used outdoors down lighting?
Hi James - this bulb is not rated for use in any application where it would be directly exposed to water. If its used outside in a fixture that would not have any opportunity of getting wet it will work. Just note that the bulb will need a stable wi-fi connection as well which can be impacted outdoors.
Can I use this in bathroom shower light?
This bulb is rated for use in damp locations. It would not be rated for use in fully wet locations where it would potentially come into direct contact with water.
What is the beam spread / angle of these bulbs?
This LED bulb has a beam spread of 40 degrees
