Will this be suitable for dispensing CYA granules
Hi Bill. For a one-time infusion on CYA granules, putting them into the Skimmer basket Liner is fine. We do not recommend using sanitizing tablets of any kind in a swimming pool skimmer basket. Regards, Poolmaster, Inc.

I need a liner that has finer mesh comparable to that of an ordinary table cloth or bed sheet.
This liner is a very fine mesh that should catch particles about as small as grains of sand. It is made of a single knit material, and when installed resembles a knit size similar to a stretched t-shirt. I hope that helps!
Very fine. In fact it is surprising what would have passed through the basket if it would not have been for the liner. Requires emptying your basket more often but it also reduces what would have passed through to your expensive pool system filters.
it's like a dense panty hose, i'm still on the first one and had it about 6 weeks. i just wash them out with a hose.
the mesh is very fine and catches the smallest particles. You do need to clean it at least once a week or the particles will clog up the skimmer and make it ineffective sending all your return water via the pool bottom vent.
