A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. The roller assembly faces the track it rests in so the nut faces the tub so the mounting screw an hold it in place on the roller assembly.

A: very's per shower door maker .some use the same size roller on right and left side of each shower door . some manufactures use 2 different size roller on each shower door.

Cheap rollers sound worse than my worn out ones

I took my shower doors down to find out why they were rubbing, figured I'd replace the wheels while I was at it. After bending back the aluminum tabs that were slightly bent where the wheels were mounted, I put these replacement wheels on and reinstalled the doors. They sounded awful and cheap. I took the doors back off, greased the wheel bearings and put them back. They are slightly quieter than before the grease, but still, my original wheels were far better. Not recommended.

Absolute junk

What a terrible design . First of all it doesn’t come with any wrenches . This seems simple enough and that you use your own tools . However when you assemble the roller to the door and try to screw it in, the hex head spins in the door so you need to get a open end wrench . However the clearance is narrower than any wrench available unless you kept a sheet metal wrench you may have gotten with another project . No washers come with the unit to “shim” it out.

I'm glad that the two most common sizes came in the pack. I thought mine was 3/4 but turned out to be 7/8. Saved me another trip. Wheel works great, smooth. Installs in a minute once the door is removed. Not a hard job at all.
