You cannot add a remote control - but you could add a wireless Mouse.
Do these cameras get power from the Ethernet cable or do I need an outlet near them?
The NVR supplies the POE -- directly through the ethernet cable, up to about 100 Meters. If a longer run is needed, a powered POE switch can be installed on the ethernet run to extend the POE another 100 meters. Assumes good Cat5 or better cable.
