Our Terra-Cotta barrels are the perfect color to match your terra-cotta planters and hanging pots. The color blends in well with red brick homes. Heavy Duty Screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rainbarrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rainbarrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rainbarrels are made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will disspiate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.

The Pedestal Riser works with gravity to provide more water pressure when using the Rainbarrel and to raise the spigot a little higher to put a watering can underneath. Handmade with repurposed lumber. Our Pedestals are made of 100% upcycled lumber, so not only are you doing your back and gravity a favor, you are also helping out our environment.

Most rain barrels on the market don't fully utilize the water they hold because the spigot is located about halfway up the barrel. This is to allow buckets to be filled, but leaves about a quarter of the water behind. And this remaining water is standing which can be hazardous. Barrels with optimally located spigots don't allow room for buckets and leave only hoses as the draining option. The Rain Wizard 50 Stand solves these issues by lifting and supporting the Rain Wizard 50 rain barrel off the ground. With increased elevation, the barrel can drain at a much faster rate. And any filling device can be easily placed below the spigot without awkward tilting or maneuvering.
