Q:I see that Home Depot shows ads for Tru-Fuel 50:1 Pre Mixed Fuel for 2 cycle Fuel on the same page as the Ryobi 16" Chainsaw. Is this Fuel recommended for 2 cycle Ryobi Powertools???

                  A:  It is likely one of two things. Check to see if the chain brake is on if that’s not it, loosen the chain a little bit and it should spin

This issue is most commonly caused by; Chain brake is engaged, chain tension is too tight, guide bar and chain assembled incorrectly, guide bar and/or chain are damaged, drive sprocket teeth damaged.                       A:  Did you over tighten the chain? You should be able to lift the new chain up but not exposing all of the drive link.

                        Working Great for Me
                        I've only had this chainsaw for under a week, but I picked it up to start cutting up a big tree that got blown over at my property during a storm recently. I don't use chainsaws on a regular basis so wasn't looking to get an expensive or commercial-grade one...just something that would work for my needs. This 16" Ryobi was under $200 total for me and worked great right out the box. Ran about two tanks of gas through it during part of a Saturday, and it worked perfectly for what I was doing.

                            As good as any other chainsaw I have ever owned.
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only have about 2 hours on the saw at this time. But that was non stop cutting with 1 stop for gas and chain oil. Standing dead and dry hardwood. The saw loved it.

                              Won’t stay running/engine problems right away
                              Must have started this chainsaw 100 times. Adjusted the carb, changed the gas, oil, made sure the air filter was good. Bought a brand new chain for it even. Still will only run for a minute as cutting the chain just stops while inside the cut. I’ve used chainsaws my entire life. I have never I mean never had this much trouble with a device as this one. Pure garbage! I purchased this a few years back to keep in the garage as a back up never used it once. Then when I need it won’t run!

                                    Ryobi Trash
                                    Used only once. Synthetic 50:1 was used. Chainsaw wont start 3 months after use and chain oil leaks more than any other saw I have used. I should have known better than to buy Ryobi and expect to use it more than once.

                                        Gets the job done
                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this yesterday 7/28/22 and I am very happy. I already own Ryobi String Trimmer with quick attach product and have the 10" pruner and brush cutter. So, when it was time for a new chainsaw, I decided to keep it in the Ryobi family. Came with a great hard case for storage. Got home, added gas and bar lube, and the start up was simple (just like the string trimmer) and got to cutting. I had no issues with firing it back up as needed. *I also read and agree, once done, open bar lube and reseal and had very little come out this morning, I lined the bottom of case with some paper towels. Looking forward to more cutting!
