Simply easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously I had a spinal surgery and a heart attack, so I needed something light weight and easy to use. Pull-start chainsaws are hard to start and strenuous on the lungs and back. The assembly of this Ryobi electric chainsaw was super easy. The battery charged very fast and it was ready to go. The extension poles are great so I didn’t have to get on a ladder. The support strap is great too. Easy fill oil chamber for lubricating the chain is nice and clear so you can see how much oil is in the chamber. It has surprising power the cut down the tree with easy. Other chainsaws are physically draining but this simply easy electric chainsaw got the job done and left me with more physical energy to do more in my yard. I am recommending this Ryobi electric chainsaw to everyone who wants something to make their tree trimming and cutting experience simply easier.

Ease of use
This pole chainsaw was very easy to use. Was trimming a 25 year old locast tree. Cut thru the branches with ease worked with it for an hour and a half and didn't use a quarter of the battery charge. Just keep chain lubricated and let the saw make the cuts. Did not have any problems with the pole as some people have reviewed. Just made my undercut then cut from the top. The saw did everything that it was advertised to do.

Pole Bent First Use & Terrible Customer Support
The first time I used this tool, the pole bent. They will give you the runaround and try everything in their power not to honor the warranty.
Buying from this company is rolling the dice. I suggest paying more for a tool from a company that doesn't treat their customers as adversaries and has the ability to think critically about if they want to lose a customer over not just sending a $10 replacement pole.

Cuts great but not very durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used it for one day. It was working great, way better than expected, but one small (2"-3"diameter ~6' long) branch caught it on the way down and bent the pole.

Cheap metal pole bends easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time out of the box and the pole severely bent. After the saw breaks through the branch and when you brace to bring it down slowly the pole can't bear the weight of the saw head. Steel, aluminum, or even a strong resin would have been better than the cheap metal they used. Normally I love ryobi tools but this was definitely a miss.

Pleasantly surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this almost two weeks ago. I had never used a pole saw before but this device was completely intuitive and came with clear instructions about use and maintenance. I was afraid the battery and the power would disappoint me but I was dead wrong. Over the week I cut down 4 salt cedar trees and trimmed 2 large fig trees. I did all of this on one complete charge and 2 full tanks of oil. It cut easily. The saw can make the end a little heavy which I anticipated and therefore use the included body harness for support.

Very reliable and durable

Macho Powered
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed that the neighbors tree was invading into the street. I have had such great results with Ryobi's mower and leaf blower. Naturally I wanted to see what they had for saws. I read reviews, and did research. This saw seemed to be scoring nicely.
I was amazed at how much I loved this beast. It gave me the power of a saw, but the safety of a pole. It has since then become a friend building tool. It lead me to meeting both neighbors on each side of my house and offering support in cleaning up their trees. I even made a couple day trips to a friend's house where a tree was ruining her gutter.
This was my best purchase of the year. I will always have a Ryobi saw in my life, and look forward to it helping me expand my social circle.

Electric pole saw
I like it, plenty of power for my needs. I cut up to 8 inch diameter palo verde limbs, also some 4 inch mesquite branches. It gets a little heavy when fully extended but I’m a 72 year old man with some health issues. All in all a great product.

Bad little saw definitely worth the money !!!!
This little saw is a workhorse cuts any limb you need cut even the bigger limbs if you let the blade do the work!!! If your on the fence about buying it do it A+++++
