Little impact with BIG! Results!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool will take lug nuts off, the auto mode is awesome and it will work even on tough bolts just select the right mode. Removing hard bolts is best achieved in auto mode. I haven’t used it much yet but I love it as I do with all my Ryobi tools! Thanks Ryobi and keep making great tools for a great price!!

RYOBI 18V Compact 1/2 in 4 Mode Impact Wrench
I received an RYOBI Compact 1/2 inch with 4 different modes on an Impact Wrench that uses the standard 18 V battery platform. The Mode switches from Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, and Automatic mode RPM. Each of these has different RPM max settings 1st Mode has 0 – 850 RPM, 2nd Mode has 0 – 2,100 RPM, 3rd Mode has 0 – 2,800 RPM each of these different modes that you have selected. It also has the option to have the impact wrench auto select the correct speed you need to operate at. But if you want to select the best speed for your need, you have that option. This ability to select the Max speed each Mode has Impact Wrench features a brushless motor delivering up to, 275 ft./lbs. of breakaway torque, and 3,800 IPM, providing this tool with more power. The Compact Impact Wrench measures in at only 5.4 inches long. The 4-Mode control board provides low/medium and high speeds, while Auto Mode has 0 – 2,200 RPM preventing over-tightening in forward and provides controlled removal in reverse. The die-cast gear case provides greater durability in the harshest work environments. This impact wrench is designed with an anvil with a friction ring that provides quick socket changes and the Tri-Beam LED work lights to allow for clear workspace visibility. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, this Compact 1/2 in 4 Mode Impact Wrench only includes the tool and no battery but does include an operator’s manual. Nice Light Duty Impact wrench.
Nice Light Duty Impact wrench. I would put this impact driver in the category of light to medium duty power tool. This particular unit is just the TOOL ONLY! The 18V battery, battery charger, sockets, and any socket extensions, ALL COME SEPARATLY! So…be sure to check the details on what is bundled with the tool before placing your order. It is part of the RYOBI suite of power tools (260) that all use the same model battery, and battery chargers, interchangeably. It is simple to operate and has four separate speeds (modes). The drive is ½ inch, so you will need an adapter if you already have ¼ inch or 3/8 inch sockets and extensions.
FEATURES I LIKE:
Easy to operate.
Four modes/speeds (low, Medium, High, Auto) . Two directions (tighten and loosen)
Over 1000 Ft/lbs of torque.
The three LEDs on the nose of the tool provides good illumination of whatever you are working on. Good feature.
It is part of the One+ universal batter/charger suite of tools. One battery/charger works with all of the One+ power tools.
FEATURES THAT COULD BE IMPROVED:
We found the tool to be somewhat “anemic” to break away tight lug nuts. We had trouble getting the tool to break loose tire lug nuts that had been torqued on to about 70-100 ft lbs. We had to resort to a conventional lug wrench to initially break the nuts loose.

Great tool
Received this tool via Fedex August 19th. First this tool is necessary for my camping trailer to be used to relevel at times because ground sinks and this tool with proper sockets helps make the job easier. Plus the fact it used all the same batteries as the other ryobi tools so I am amble to charge the same battery as need. I would recommend this tool to anyone who might ask or use it. Plus the fact you can also use this tool to change tires if need be. Another great tool to be added to my Ryobi power tool collection. I will continue to be a proud Ryobi tool customer.

Lots of Features
The variable speed trigger and 4 selectable modes all work well.
I weighed the impact wrench on my scale and it weighed in a 2.4 pounds.
I recommend using deep impact sockets and/or impact socket extensions for this tool because the battery sticks out toward the front. I used a 1/2 inch deep impact socket on the wheels nuts on my SUV and it worked well for that.
I like the 3 LEDS on the front that come on when the trigger is pressed. They stay on for 15 second after the trigger is released which is a nice feature.

Ryobi One Model PSBIW25 18-volt ½’’ compact Impact wrench Works Great
Ryobi One model PSBIW2518 volt ½’’ compact Impact wrench works great and fits in some tight spots to get the job done the led work lights helps in the dark spots. This model number is for the tool only so you can use your other Ryobi 18-volt batteries and charger to take this with you when on the job. I keep this in my service truck, so I do not need air, or a wall plug to use. With the four-mode system which allows low/medium high speed and automatic plus up to 600-foot pounds of breakaway and 450 pounds of tighten torque you can set it for the work needing to be done, over tightening is prevented when in auto mode when using in either reverse or forward. Made to last with a die cast gear case plus a brushless motor and a three-year warranty use it. Get this and other great Ryobi products at Home Depot. This Works For Me.

Bought this as a “buy batteries get tool free” deal, so essentially I bought into the ryobi system for $100, and this tool basically cost me $50.
You will be hard pressed to find a decent impact wrench for $50 and this is better than I expected : lug nuts no problem on my old 1.5 ton jeep
It is a bulky wrench and a little underpowered for a 1/2” but gets the job done. You won’t be busting out rusted bolts in old suspension but handles most everything else it can reach. Good buy.

COMPACT 1/2 IMPACT
1st of all can’t complain with the $57 price i paid for since its a freebie from the battery purchase. Next , this is actually very compact and light. The battery seems heavier than the tool itself. Love the auto mode, it will stop once the nut or bolt is fully loose. Lastly, only needed it for emergency road repair like tire change, but the power is way powerful for a 275 ftlbs. I also do minor car repairs in my garage , so this is very helpful
