missing parts
Picked it up Curbside. They smartly put it in a bucket that I ordered. Got home, opened the bucket, noticed that a critical part was missing. Gotta go back now.

Uneven watering
I have this open at about 100 degrees and noticed parts of my lawn drying out. I tested it with 3 gauges placed 10 ft from the sprinkler head at different areas around the radius. The center of the radius got like 10x the water as the edges. See picture.

Dont spray evenly
I don't know what to say. these things are terrible. Put 10 of them in my new lawn and I've spent a week trying to get them to work properly. They just will not spray evenly. They seem to spray nicely at anything under 90degrees but once I'm at 180degress they don't spray evenly. See picture. Maybe a non-adjustable fixed angle pop up sprinkler would work better.

Sorry to hear about your problems. A few things to check are that the nozzles are screwed all the way onto the stems that pops up, and that the caps are screwed all the way onto the bodies that are buried in the ground.

Works great for watering low ground-cover and shrubs where you need extra height. I used drip irrigation previously but switched back to in-ground spray heads due to hassles raking around and continually breaking drip lines. Rain Bird pop-up heads are much more durable and retract when not in use making it easier to rake to clean up around plant beds. Rain Bird pop-up sprinklers also work great with both Raid Bird Rotary and Hunter MP Rotator nozzles.

Same problem as others. Leaks at the base of the stem substantially resulting the the stem not extending all the way. Bought 8 of them and they are all going back. First time buying sprinkler heads, last time buying a Rain Bird product.

Sorry to hear of your problem with the Rain Bird sprays.
It sounds like you may have a significant amount of dirt or grit stuck in the spray that may be causing leaking and the stem to not stick up properly. Did you flush the line before placing the new sprays in place?
