A:  I'm not sure what your question is. These back flow prevent ers have a strainer. If you need an actual water filter, I use Camcorder inline water filters. They are available online or at RV supplies stores.

However, if you're looking for something for an underground irrigation system that connects to your irrigation valves, then you'd want a Pressure-Regulating Filter, which is a pressure regulator built into the filter to minimize size.
