A: I would say yes. It's very strong.

A: It should stand up to a few seasons of use. It's a pretty solid spring rake that I use to clean out small Laurel Oak leaves from a grassed area digging into the grass to pull out the leaves. It hasn't let me down yet! I'm into my third season with no sign of failure.
