Hello FJR, Thank you for reaching out and for your technical questions. Please note that the load terminals on the charge controller will be a direct reflection of the battery bank voltage. In other words, if you have a 24-volt battery bank, the charge controller will output 24-volts at the load terminals. Please contact us with any other questions, have a great day.
Hello CB, We would recommend connecting your solar panels in series and the higher voltage would minimize the wire gauge required between the charge controller and the solar panel. We would recommend using 10-AWG wire, please contact us if you have any other questions, have a wonderful day.
Hello, The BT-1 module is not included and must be purchased separately. Please reach out to us if you have any other questions, have a wonderful day.
Hello Braden, We would not recommend using two 40-amp charge controllers on the same battery bank as they cannot communicate with each other and this may result in one of the units reducing charging current prematurely. Please contact us if you have any other questions, have a wonderful day.
Hi, Thank you for reaching out and choosing Renogy. Our Renogy charge controllers do have a blocking diodes that will prevent any kind of back-feed to the solar panels. Please contact us if you have any other questions or concerns, have a wonderful day.
Hello Nate, Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing Renogy. We see the ACR message on the screen when the charge controller is trying to activate a Lithium battery from the lockout stage. This ACR message may also appear if the charge controller does not detect any voltage or extremely low voltage on the battery terminals. We would recommend reaching out to us and we can assist with troubleshooting your charge controller.
Hello Howie, Thank you for your question and your feedback. Please note the load terminals are completely optional and are available to connect a 12-volt load directly to your charge controller. You may also use the load terminals to run the respective load on a timer. The load terminal is rated at 20-amps Maximum. Please contact us if you have any other questions or concerns, have a wonderful day.
Yes, this cable is included.
According to Renogy , Yes.
I believe the answer is yes. I have four 100w panels connected to mine. I have them in two x two configuration. This means two 100w in series, making it a 24v x 100w unit. Two of these hooked together in parallel make the whole unit 200w x 24v. I have had no problems with this setting and the MPPT controller. By the way I have 2 deep cycle marine batteries connected to the end of this system in parallel. Hope this helps. Of course you can always just call Renogy and ask, they are very helpful people
