Thanks. Your answer helped. I want to have the shelves move separately. I want to spin the top one and have the bottom one stay put. Or vice versa. Right now they move as one unit making it difficult to see items on the bottom shelf. This is a BAD design if I can’t adjust this. My other lazy Susan, that came with the house moves separately from each other. Is very nice. Don’t buy this one. It’s frustrating not to be able to see things on the bottom shelf. The top shelf is always in the way!!!

How much weight can I store on these shelves?

The shelf itself can hold quite a bit of weight as we have put over 15 pounds on the top shelf. However, if too much weight is put on the shelf, it will start to slide down the pole. This can be fixed by putting a clamp around the pole underneath each shelf.

The measurement from the center point (vertex) of the pie cut (in a straight line) to the back edge for the 28" radius is 18-1/8".

This product was ordered to replace an existing corner cabinet lazy susan that had cracked plastic trays so I decided to go with the wood set since it's more durable and looks nicer than plastic. Even though I am fairly experienced with many DIY projects, installation did not take 15 minutes according to the installation sheet included, and although the instructions could have been a bit more detailed, it was straightforward enough to figure out. Actually most of my time was spent making minor adjustments to ensure proper top/bottom and side clearance after installation. One minor thing that I didn't like was the 4 outermost holes on the tray are a bit close to the rim of the tray which made it difficult to drill pilot holes into the cabinet door without the drill chuck hitting the rim, but it's not a major issue as it could be corrected by adjusting the angle slightly downward . Another thing to note is that this set does NOT include 8 screws required to screw the trays to the cabinet door, which was not an issue for me as I already had the appropriate screws on hand, but would have annoyed me if I didn't. Overall, the new lazy susan is good quality, looks nice and is used to keep mixing bowls, baskets, and frequently used appliances from cluttering my kitchen counter tops.

Had a pro install it, though it looks doable for DIY. It took him longer to remove the old shelf than to install the new one. It runs smoothly and seems quite sturdy.

Sturdy shelf but like everyone else says, it was a nightmare to install. Instructions were totally worthless, couldn't even find a video to help. It was a good replacement shelf versus plastic, but prepare for an afternoon of cursing and sweat. Good luck.

Once I found someone to install it, it was much better than the plastic shelf. However, it was not a 15 min job and the directions omitted some of the parts. On line videos made it look very easy. The center pole is crucial to have straight and hard to do.
