Is this version 1 or the newer version 2 of this can?
This replacement can will be the original version, which requires the RV-50 lid.
My opening for the top mount wooden rev-a-shelf is 9.5”x12.75”. Does this bin fit that dimension? It’s difficult to find the right one as the measurements are at the top rather than for the opening of the rev-shelf holder.
You are very close, but you need the 35Qrt and not the 50Qrt. Look for RV-35-17-52 if you are looking for the silver version.
What are the measurements at the top of the container?
They are 14-3/4" x 10-7/8"
It has stops so if you put in an opening in shelf near top of drawer, it stops with enough sticking above the shelf to put garbage bag over lip. What is the dimension from bottom of the stop to the top rim of the trash can? (between red lines in pic)

What size lid is best for this trash can?
Rev-A-Shelf has a specific lid for our 50qrt trash cans and that is RV-50-LID-1.
