Hi Chenty, I love the versatility of the Ring App and Alexa Apps when controlling my smart-lighting, so I can understand why this might be important to you. The simple answer: Yes, you can control the lights individually within both the Amazon Alexa and Ring App. This is done by adding your lights to groups, routines, and more. You can learn more information about how to add lights to groupings in our Help Center on Ring.com by following the link I've provided: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024055772-Grouping-Multiple-Smart-Lights-in-the-Ring-App I would like you to feel confident in making these changes in your Ring and Alexa Apps, and invite you to reach out to us directly, where we will get you connected with a trained technician to assist you in these changes. Kindest Regards, Caitlin with Ring
It will work with doorbells that have motion sensors. You can set the lights to turn on when the doorbell senses motion
No, the chime is for hearing a sound from a ring doorbell when it is pressed and the ring bridge is for controlling ring smart lighting.
These work in standard porch/standard light fixtures. It does say on the box not to use with dimmers, etc, I am not sure if it will work with non-Ring dawn-dusk and motion detectors. I would just use a standard porch light, you can set in the app light schedules like dawn to dusk, or connect it to a Ring cam/doorbell cam or motion detector, and set it to turn on when they detect motion.
No, these can only be controlled by the app or set on a time to be turned on or off.
