I applied this product to my lawn and it has ruin part of my lawn. The weeds only turned white as well as my grass. The weeds continued to grow. It’s a good thing I ran out of time or I would’ve ruin my entire lawn. I will never waste my money on this product again.

We apologize that you were not thoroughly satisfied with Roundup for Lawns Crabgrass Destroyer. This product will turn the treated weeds white 4-7 days after the application. It may also turn the grass closest to the weeds white. This is especially true if there is a heavy application. We recommend a watering program of a 1/2 inch of water every 2 to 3 days. You should water like this for at least 3-4 weeks after the application. The higher the temperatures (85+degrees) the longer you should water. We want you to be confident in our products; therefore, we offer a product guarantee. To receive more details about this, please contact us at https://tinyurl.com/qzurvag.
Would Rather Have Crab Grass Terrible
Destroyed our entire front yard, we now have huge white spots throughout our yard and are now known as the camo grass. Now we have a letter from HOA so would definitely NOT recommend.

        Killed My Kentucky Bluegrass
I sprayed this on the crabgrass that was taking over some parts of my lawn. The crabgrass turned somewhat white but after several days is still alive. What isn’t alive are huge patches of grass in my lawn. My lawn is destroyed now, and I can’t afford to replace the dead parts with sod. I’m extremely upset by this and would like Scott’s to not only refund my money but pay for sod and it’s installation in the places where their product killed what had been healthy grass. I’ve worked so hard to have a nice lawn and landscaping, and now I have a horrible eyesore.

          little effect on crabgrass
Some, though few, crabgrass leaves turned white after a week so I repeated the treatment which remains to be seen. I don't think this works very well.

Crabgrass turned white, recovered, did not kill it
Applied as label recommended (mid 70's, windstill, mid-afternoon, did not rain for 3-4 days afterward, not mowed for 5 days afterward, mowed 3 days before. After the 6th day, white spots began to appear. After two weeks, most crabgrass leaves were white. It continued to grow, color returned, and crabgrass did not die. Product did not work as label indicated it would. Very disappointed.

We are sorry that you did not get the results you expected from Roundup for Lawns Crabgrass Destroyer. We ask that you allow 3-4 weeks for a complete control after application. Once turning white the weeds will turn brown and die. The time frame will depend on the temperatures, moisture and maturity of the weed. Very easy to dispense. The dispensing and application system makes this very easy to use and apply safely. The powered wand makes it possible to do the job with almost zero chance of having to come into contact with the product at all. We no longer even have to unscrew a lid, the wand unfolds and is simply pushed into the top of the cap. The cap is itself also a valve which opens and closes the supply with a 90° turn. After removing a small tab from the wand, the battery is connected and one can start spraying. When the job is finished, the wand foldes up again and clips onto the side of the bottle. A lock on the trigger switch prevents accidental pumping of the products. Good levels of safety. The effectiveness of Roundup is well established, it is the go-to herbicide of the industry. This version is designed to target Crabgrass and grassy weeds and turns them white when they are dying, providing an indicator that the herbicide is working. weeds killed are: Barnyardgrass, Crabgrass (Large, smooth, southern, wooly), Dallisgrass, Foxtail (giant, green & yellow), Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Millet, Nimbleweed, Panicum, Shattercane, Signalgrass (broadleaf) and Japanese Stilltgrass. It is to be applied when the temperature is between 45° and 95°F and the weeds are in an early growth stage.

Roundup for Lawns Crabgrass Destroyer Ready to Spray with Extended Wand is just what I needed to kill annoying crabgrass in my lawn. Even though I use a pre-emergent every year, I still get crabgrass in isolated spots. This product is great because it kills crabgrass without harming the lawn. Other weed killers that I've used don't kill the crabgrass. The extended wand is convenient and helpful. I also use regular Roundup to control weeds in my mulch beds.

This liquid Roundup Crabgrass Destroyer is an excellent product for maintaining a weed free lawn. It comes in a liquid (128 oz) Ready-to-Spray (with batteries) container. The Extended Wand helps to "spot" spray without significant overspray. When applied correctly, it will not kill grasses in Northern Lawns (bluegrass, fine and tall fescue, Ryegrass), however it quickly kills crabgrass and other grassy weeds down to the roots with confirmation that it has worked...weeds temporarily turn white 4-7 days after application. Pretty simple and targeted to kill the weeds and not the lawn.
