I installed this over vinyl flooring in a basement. Basements are notorious for being uneven horizontally as well as having wavy side walls. The flexibility allowed it to hug the walls and floors flawlessly. I used a chop saw to cut it. I appreciated the light weight and flexibility as I cut it outside and had to weave my way through the house to reach my destination. Looks awesome installed and I didn’t have to paint it.

Easier and better than wood
I used this 1/4 Round to finish off a nursery. Was incredibly easy to use and looks fantastic. Any method that you use with wood quarter round will work with this. I used a brad nailer to attach to the trim and used a paintable caulk to cover up the holes. It finished amazing and you don’t need to worry about finishing off any edges as it is white throughout.

Great quarter round, much better than wood in many ways. I have primarily used these as trim around replacement windows, inside and outside. It does not permanently bend like wood, does not rot, can be painted and is easier to cut than wood (I used a simple miter box and saw). I generally install this with adhesive, not nails for a better finished look.
