A: Use acetone or finger nail polish remover. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Be sure to use gloves and eye protection and use the cleaner sparingly and quickly in the area that needs attention to remove the ink jet UPC.

I needed a waterproof board to replace an exterior trim board that was installed flush with the shingles along the bottom edge of the triangular side panels of my dormer. Because the original board was installed flush with the shingles it rotted along its bottom edge as it was exposed to the rainwater running down the roof along the dormer. This board was the perfect solution. It is easy to cut, plane, sand and paint. If you have a similar situation where you know your board will be frequently exposed to water, this is a great way to get look you know will last.
