The color is good and matches the color on the top. I've used it. Few times to spray paint molding for my wall designs.

          Great color and finish!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Rust-oleum spray paint. I also like this rose gold color. I like to refinish my own furniture and update the hardware with spray paint. The photos don't do the color justice. It is definitely a rosy gold color and looks great against the sage green dresser. I plan on painting so many more things in my room this color.

            Rust-Oleum Paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Rust-Oleum spray paint as a free sample from TryIt samples. The paint has a bright coat metallic finish, a rich shiny finish, and is fast drying. features a comfort tip with a wider finger pad to reduce fatigue.

              Quality paint in a can
Quality product, holds strong and hasn’t faded. Going on 2 months. Have used with wood metal and plastic, holds on everything. Prep is important but not needed for most applications

              So far so good
So far, I am very happy with this product, but I have only had it for a couple of days so I will update this review if I find it is not durable or if there are any other issues. I sprayed a plant stand and a pot and they look beautiful. They are outdoors in a semi-sheltered patio so that will be test of its durability. It was easy to use and I was able to apply a second coat in less than 24 hours without any discernible problems. It is a lovely color with lots of shine. If it holds up well outdoors, I plan to use it on other metal structures such as a trellis and some hanging baskets. In any case, the chicken likes it. ;) I may take a tip from another reviewer (Matthitect) and spray a clear, protective clear lacquer coat over it.

I use a lot of Rust-oleum stop rust spray paints when I am making Christmas decorations and when I saw this paint I thought it would be a nice addition to what I am making this year. The color is very nice and I am glad I got it. There are some things you should know about this one that is different than the others I have worked with. First when I say I have worked with a lot of their colors, I am guessing maybe 15 different ones in the past year, to include other metallic colors. This one seems to go on wetter, there for is more prone to dripping, this one takes longer to dry to the point you can handle them, like silver and gold I can normally at least handle within an hour, two at max, the copper had to sit over night. I am still happy with the out come, you just need to be aware it is a bit different. It helps a little if you just apply multiple light coats over just one or two heavy coats.

This paint has a nice shiny copper sheen to it, but you have to put in on fairly wet to get it. If you use very light coats, you get a dusted finish. In my experience, you want to let it dry for 24 hours before touching or handling it. Even after that, I wouldn't use any kind of sticky masking on it because it will ruin the paint. You would probably have to wait a week. I let mine dry 48 hours and the finish still wasn't as durable as I expected. I coated it with a fast drying clear lacquer spray to enhance the sheen and protect the paint.

Thank you for sharing your experience using our Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Bright Coat Copper Metallic Spray Paint! We expect each can of this product to cover approximately 4-6 ft², however, the porosity of the surface and thickness of the application will affect the coverage. The paint should be dry to the touch after one hour, and a clear coat is not recommended with our Bright Coat spray paints, since this may darken and dull the finish. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2 Rustoleum

This paint looks beautiful--at first! I bought this copper paint for the nose cone and upper airframe of a high power sport rocket my son and I plan to a launch with our local rocket club. I sprayed the copper over 2 cotes of Rustoleum flat white primer that I had wet-sanded with 800 grit (and thoroughly dried) for a smooth paint surface over the fiberglass airframe. It went on mirror smooth and I was careful not to let anything touch it for a solid 24 hours while it dried. The next day when I went to mask off the copper to paint another section a different color, not only did the blue painters tape mar the mirror finish around the paint line, but the brown paper (which isn't even adhesive) had stuck to the paint and peeled some of it off down to the primer! This paint is so fragile that I didn't even get a chance to clear cote over it before it was ruined. I can't see it holding up for anything useful, unless it's something decorative that you never plan to touch. Very disappointing.

Let's talk through this, Phil! Please keep in mind that Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Bright Coat Metallic Finish Spray is fully dry in 48 hours and achieves maximum durability when it fully cures in 7 days. When using painter's tape, we recommend removing it immediately after you have applied the final topcoat to avoid removing any dried paint. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5 Rustoleum
