Oh my gosh! This rug feels SO good on my feet! It's thick and plush and soft. I love taking my shoes off and walking on it barefoot! Really! It's got a bit of a "smell" when you first open it but we just put the ceiling fan on for a week and let it air out. It's not a terrible smell, just a "new" smell. We bought another one a couple of months ago for another room and our niece came with her one year old baby. It was so cute! He would just lay on it and spread out and rub his face into it because he likes soft things. He put himself to sleep that way. I don't usually do reviews but I thought you all might like to have some information on this rug when you're trying to make your decision. Enjoy!

This rug is beautiful, plush, & has a thick/dense shag. Purchased for dining area, but initially had in living area to flatten out the minimal waves from being rolled up. During that time, everyone in the family was lying on the rug to watch TV & commenting how soft it felt. The rug is very heavy - another point to it's quality. Took three of us to get the rug lifted, aligned on pad, and straight/centered on dining area wood floor. Would have benefited from fourth person on other side due to the large size and weight of the rug. With 2 inch shag, thought rug may be difficult to vacuum, but at high setting/roller brush off (protect fibers), I had no issues. The beige is lighter than online image, but is a nice neutral true beige/taupe - not pinkish or grayish beige. I absolutely love, love, love this rug & would recommend to others looking for a quality, soft, shag rug for dining, living, or bedroom.
