What type of material provides the fire protection ?
Hello Bill, this safe has fire strip seals that go around the frame that expand when they are exposed to heat to seal up the door. Inside the safe is gypsum that also protect the safe from fire. 2 questions: 1) Can it be opened with a strong magnet given it doesn't have a dual key system? 2) Can it be bolted to the floor or floor, or just floor?
Hello AdamQ, the safe can not be opened with a strong magnet but it does come with an override key plus the electronic lock. This unit has mounting holes both on the bottom of the safe and also the back meaning that you would need to mount it to the floor and wall at the same time.
